The two Pokémon from Brawl that seem to eat quite a lot. Which has a bigger taste for victory?
Votes for Gulpin
This thing does damage! --66.222.171.225 22:22, 22 July 2011 (EDT)
Least it helps. MegaTron1XD 22:28, 22 July 2011 (EDT)
This one doesn't stick around for far too long and interrupt me when I attempt to get snapshots involving pokeball pokemon. OmegaTyrant 22:29, 22 July 2011 (EDT)
Gulpin is cute and useful, two qualities Munchlax lacks. SquishyfrogChat 22:34, 22 July 2011 (EDT)
Gulphin does damage to the opponent. What does Munchlax do? Eat items. How useful. --FireEmblemFan275 (talk) 22:48, 22 July 2011 (EDT)
Munchlax is so annoying, eating every item it can find. Gulpin is annoying for your opponent, but is very satisfying for you. Heh heh... Mastersword (talk) 01:39, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
All Munchlax does is eat items while Gulpin eats peoples i believe which makes him more useful Goomba's Shoe15 (talk) 01:55, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
Oh Munchlax, how I hate you so. Dornob (talk) 02:06, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
More useful. .....Talk to me. Y 02:20, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
Munchlax eats items. How useful... Gulpin eats opponents. That's useful! --85.250.163.48 03:00, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
About to grab assist trophy. Munchlax eats it. Fu- ☆TheSolarDragon☆ 03:33, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
It does DAMAGE, unlike Munchlax. When I'm playing Brawl and I see Munchlax, he almost never does something :/--PSIWolf (T • C • E) 06:16, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
Trapping opponents in Gulpin and spamming down-smashes is so effective! Munchlax... isn't. ToastUltimatumComplaints Box 07:48, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
Yay, my fight is up! Anyway, I remember what Solar Dragon said when this was in the Suggestions. "Eat my assist trophy you little..." --107.5.57.137 07:53, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
Gulpin does something useful: Swallows, allowing rack up damage opportunities. Munchlax just walks for a long time eating items (which is very annoying when i want to get a useful item and then he EATS it!) Gulpin FTW. Zeldasmash (talk) 09:33, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
I like gulpin because while it is swallowing and inflicting damage you can use falcon punches to add even more damage.I always play as captain falcon in traning and try that !!!! Real help:)98.116.118.143 09:37, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
As a Pokemon I hate Gulpin, but it is definitely more useful than Munchlax in Brawl. 110.174.90.69 09:38, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
With gulpin chewing my opponent, i can down smash (With Lucas of course) my opponent lots of time, and the damage buildup will be massive unlike munchlax that eat the assist trophy and stickers i'm after >:D Lucas-IV-PKLove 10:48, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
Only because he evolves into Swalot..... Mesprit, Uxie, Azelf. Mesuxelf 11:06, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
Munchlax is not good for anything, considering I use nothing but Pokeballs in brawls from time to time. Dark Mai Valentine (talk) 13:42, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
Generation 3 is underrated. Besides, Munchlax does so little that for a while I didn't know he even did anything.--174.59.4.202 14:00, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
Nostalgia, I remember when I first caught one in Sapphire, evolved it, and thought I was the only trainer in Hoenn with a Swalot. Blue Ninjakoopa(Talk) 19:08, 24 July 2011 (EDT)
YES, A RAY GUN! *nomnomnom* D: Need I say more? -Ivy73 18:45, 25 July 2011 (EDT)
I was going to vote for Munchlax cause Gulpin is ugly, but I can never forgive the bear/rabid fox/cookie monster/thing for eating every freaking item that appears. Takava (talk) 01:42, 27 July 2011 (EDT)
Does Damage Cherrim98 (talk) 12:23, 27 July 2011 (EDT)
When he evolves he gets a cool mustache. Munchlax is just fatter. HavocReaper 12:43, 27 July 2011 (EDT)

Glupin is pretty awesome! —Preceding unsigned comment added by EarthLucario29 (talk • contribs) 13:10, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
I like Mucnhlax Better (Snorlax FTW) But in terms of brawl usefulness, Gulpin takes this one with flying colors. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.194.23.151 (talk • contribs) 11:50, 24 July 2011 (EDT)
I've glitched Brawl with Weavile and Gulpin causing a OHKO on a Metaknight. That's enough to convince me. 25T16Talk to me! 19:46, 25 July 2011 (EDT)
Munchlax is entirely useless. At least Gulpin's useful!
Gulpin is a cool pokemon—Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.248.59.149 (talk • contribs) 16:24, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
Oh, never mind then. Still, this forum wasn't nearly as popular back then, and if I was registered, I would have actually voted for Ganondorf! (Not sympathetically, Warlock Punch antics) I'm hoping for another, though! ToastUltimatumComplaints Box 09:34, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
@Vote 23 - Munchlax is from Generation 3. Ever played Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness on Gamecube?
--FireEmblemFan275 (talk) 15:18, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
Appearing in a Generation 3 game doesn't make it a Generation 3 Pokémon. Plenty of Pokémon cameo in the anime before their official debuts, and the XD appearance was just another one of those - a cameo. You can't actually use Munchlax in XD. Flicky (talk) 18:21, 23 July 2011 (EDT)
Munchlax is a Gen IV Pokemon, but the anime introduced it while Gen III was still underway. Ruby & Sapphire did not have any data for Munchlax, and so could not be used in the games (or playability in the spinoffs, as they could sometimes connect with the main games), but as the Pokemon undeniably existed, Game Freak thought Munchlax might as well have had some cameos, such as its appearances in XD and Dash. The same thing happened with Lucario, Bonsly, maybe Mime Jr. and Weavile. ToastUltimatumComplaints Box 13:17, 27 July 2011 (EDT)
Out of the clones from Melee, Falco's had arguably the most changes for Brawl; yet he remains near the top of the tier list in both games. Which incarnation is more liked?
Votes for Falco (SSBM)
While it's good too see Falco not being an entire copy of Fox, and while it is great to experience his sensitivity on bread, I like Falco better in Melee (mainly because I like all characters better in Melee) Smiddle 君怒る? 17:33, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
I like both, but I vote for Falco's SSBM counterpart because his old Reflector is better, and he has better combos. Hawk 21 (talk) 17:35, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
Reflector is better, better combos, though he is a clone, its' better for him to be a clone than for him to suck. DoctorPain99{ROLLBACKER} 18:49, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
I'm pretty sure that Melee is better than Brawl in every way competitively. But don't get me wrong, I like Brawl more.25T16Talk to me! 20:05, 29 July 2011 (EDT)

Brawl is more popular, but never better. Doomolish (talk) 21:00, 31 July 2011 (EDT)

Falco was just a clone in Melee, and that was the only reason he was high tier. Here, he is top tier in his own right. Besides, Melee sucks. Mr. Anon (talk) 17:37, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
Hands of my prey! and better attacks. Plus Brawl is better than Melee.Cherrim98 (talk) 17:42, 29 July 2011 (EDT)--
If Melee Falco fell sany faster, he'd beat Stone Kirby to the ground. Flap your wings, birdbrain, breadhead etc ToastUltimatumComplaints Box 18:39, 29 July 2011 (EDT)

Falco isn't a complete clone of Fox in Brawl. 110.174.90.69 22:31, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
I like Falco's appearance (as in his model) in Brawl better then in Melee.--81.158.119.48 02:31, 30 July 2011 (EDT)
Ugh. I have a hard time deciding, but in the end, I realize I only have Brawl. Plus, he has much more funnier quotes. --107.5.57.137 13:39, 30 July 2011 (EDT)

Why Falco? Why not Mario or Link? Cherrim98 (talk) 17:43, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
Exactly. We might as well have Mario vs. Mario vs. Mario if we have this fight. Worst fight seen on the SA. ☆TheSolarDragon☆ 18:11, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
Wow. I really didn't think this would turn up. I refuse to vote in this fight, as I said in my Suggestions opposition. Fighting yourself, just stupid. ☆TheSolarDragon☆ 18:00, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
This fight was chosen because it had high support from the community; I myself was rather nonplussed with it, but the voters wanted it, so here it is. ToomaiGlittershine The Different 18:15, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
In all honesty, I could care less who wins, it's the same person. I just wanted to participate. --174.59.4.202 20:31, 30 July 2011 (EDT)
I refuse to vote. This just doesn't make sense. I think it's supposed to be two DIFFERENT characters. It's still the same character, he just got played around with. Mastersword (talk) 19:01, 30 July 2011 (EDT)
@Mesuxelf: How did your like of kittens make you vote for SSBB's Falco? Not that I'm criticizing it or anything, just wanna know. --107.5.57.137 19:41, 31 July 2011 (EDT)

@Rei'Demon I believe that would be a headset, for talking to Fox, Slippy, Peppy, ROB64 & Krystal with. ToastUltimatumComplaints Box 16:00, 3 August 2011 (EDT)
Yeah, I know, but the fact that it also has a little window that comes out (as seen in Fox's introduction) makes the similarity all the more obvious to me. ReiDemon 16:39, 3 August 2011 (EDT)
Error, I voted for SSBB Falco because I liked his appearance better but my signature has somehow been moved down to the vote below it, leaving my vote without any signature and the one below it incorrectly signed under my IP, can someone fix this? --81.158.119.48 07:21, 6 August 2011 (EDT)
