This article is about the aura effect. For Lucario's fighter ability, see Aura.
For the smasher, see Smasher:Aura
Richter's Holy Water, an attack with the aura effect.

Aura is an attack effect in the Super Smash Bros. series that debuted in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Characters hit by an aura attack temporarily emit blue flame-like energy.

Aura attacks are boosted by Aura Attack stickers in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's The Subspace Emissary and the support spirit skill Aura Attack ↑ as well as certain Spirit Battle conditions in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Aura attacks are resisted by the support spirit skill Aura Resist ↑ in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

In Brawl, if Lucario's attacks possess an Aura effect, they will scale with its Aura ability, with their damage changing depending on the amount of damage Lucario has taken, as well as the difference in stocks between Lucario and its opponents. Aura attacks used by fighters other than Lucario however do not scale with their damage, and if Lucario's attacks do not have an Aura effect in Brawl, they will not scale either. Starting from Smash 4 though, Lucario's attacks scale with Aura, regardless of the hit effect they have, making the Aura hit effect completely separate from Lucario's Aura ability.
