- Although Hero was absent from the proceeding decade tournaments due to the Luminary, the default costume, debuting in 2017, he is not present in this tourney.
- DLC stages Mementos, Yggdrasil's Altar, Garreg Mach Monastery, Spring Stadium, Minecraft World and Cloud Sea of Alrest are the only stages from a 2010s game not present in the event.
