Chrom is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He serves as an Echo Fighter of Roy. Chrom’s appearance in the game was announced on August 8th, 2018.

Differences from Roy

Aesthetics

• Chrom does not hold his sword in a reverse grip like Roy does.
• Chrom's attacks lack the fire effect of Roy's.

Special Moves

• Chrom appears to have a unique Final Smash.
• Chrom's up special resembles faster version of Ike's. Instead of throwing his sword first, he performs an upwards slash.
