The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Fire Primids (ファイアプリム, Fire Prim) are red Primids who can breathe fire.

Overview[edit]

Fire Primids are different from other Primids by the fact that while normal Primids are green, Fire Primids are red, and instead of punching or using a weapon, they expel fire from their mouths. They attack in two different ways, with either a small fireball or a larger breath of fire. The fireball attack does light damage and knockback and it can be reflected, however, as Fire Primids are near-immune to fire, this is not an effective strategy. How far the fireball attack will travel before dissipating depends on the difficulty being played; a higher difficulty results in further distance. The fire breath, while also dealing light knockback, is more dangerous as it hits multiple times, deals more damage, and covers a larger area. Unlike the fireball attack and it cannot be reflected. While the Fire Primid uses the fireball attack with little warning, the fire burst attack has noticeable start-up lag. They do possess the "spear-jump" attack; however, it is seldom used offensively as opposed to maneuvering.

Moveset[edit]

Notes: The "d" below is a multiplier based on the difficulty value. Final damage is rounded down to the nearest whole number. The move names are fan-made in the absence of an official source.
Name Damage Description
Fireball 4 + 1.4d A low damage, low knockback fireball. Deals 4% additional shield damage. Velocity scales with difficulty.
Fire Breath 2 + 0.8d (hits 1-5)
5 + 2.2d (final hit near), 4 + 2.0d (final hit far)
A stream of fire coming from the Fire Primid's mouth. The multihits are relatively weak and have an SDI multiplier of 4×. The final hit deals more damage and knockback though has a sourspot far away. The multihits have 5% additional shield damage and the final hit deals 15% additional shield damage, destroying shields quickly. It has a large hitbox, making it possible to get hit while behind the Fire Primid if walking into it or using melee attacks.
Spear Jump 8 + 2.2d (initial jump)
6 + 2.0d (spin)
Crouches down for a second and launch themselves upwards while spinning, damaging characters with light knockback that are in the way. They can jump at a slight angle in the player's general direction instead of just straight up.
Careening 12 - 0.5d

Trophy[edit]

Fire Primid's trophy in Brawl
Fire Primid
A specialized, fire-breathing Primid with two flamethrowing attacks. Primids with weapons are just normal, armed Primids, but Fire Primids are a whole new species with a whole new color. Although no more special than the others, they may feel slightly more superior with their red-hot color. Dealing with these guys in a group can be especially tricky.
