Family Ties is a single-player event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. In it, the player controls Bowser Jr., helped by a Giant Bowser, and must defeat Mario and Luigi in a stock match.
Progression[edit]
This event is unlocked by clearing The King Strikes Back. Completing the event unlocks the left path.
- Left path: Awards a Crazy Orders pass. Leads to Yellow Devils.
Completing the event on normal or hard difficulty within 30 seconds awards a Bob-omb Drill equipment.
Trivia[edit]
- The music used in this event, Fortress Boss (Super Mario World), normally plays on Mushroom Kingdom U, rather than Mario Galaxy.
- This event is similar to Brawl's Event 22: Monkeys Unite, both of which involve the playable character's giant relative assisting the player in defeating two opponents.
