Luisfer (also known as Fer) is a smasher from El Salvador who mains Diddy Kong in Smash 4 and Fox/Falco in Melee. He started playing Melee in 2006 mostly with his brother because of the lack of a local competitive scene in El Salvador, before dropping the game a few years later. Then he focused on competitive League of Legends for a 3 years and won a few tournaments before also dropping the game and returning to Smash in 2014, with Smash 4 3DS’s launch. After this, he also returned to competitive Melee in mid 2015.
Luisfer has been El Salvador’s Rank 1 player in 2015 and 2016 for both Smash 4 and Melee, but he’s better known for being Anther's Ladder Season1 top player with an almost 100% win rate and an over 110 win streak, losing only 1 set vs Wrath. Luisfer is also known for being really active in the Smash 4 wifi community by playing in different Smash 4 tournaments and doing pretty well.
Even though he hasn’t traveled that much, he also has decent placings at stacked majors like 33th at EVO 2015 and 65th at EVO 2016.
