Template:Infobox Final Smash SSB4 The Power Star (パワースター, Pawāsutā) is Rosalina's Final Smash. While performing this move Rosalina will pull out a power star which will shoot out stars in all directions.

Origin

Mario collects a Power Star in Super Mario Galaxy.

Power Stars first appeared in Super Mario 64, and act as collectibles that Mario is required to obtain in order to access more levels. These stars also appear again in the remake Super Mario 64 DS, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 but the Power Stars were replaced by Shine Sprites in Super Mario Sunshine. The number of total stars that the player can collect in each of these four game varies; Super Mario 64 has a total of 120 stars, its DS remake made a increase of 30 stars which brings the total to 150 stars, and both Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 each have a total of 242 stars (121 stars each for Mario and Luigi to collect).
