Challenges
Challenges is a new mode in Brawl. It is basically a vault containing all the things you can unlock in the game. When first starting the game all the player will see is a board of opaque blue squares. Each square contains either a trophy, sticker or CD and can only be unlocked by fulfilling certain requirements. Each time you fulfill the requirements for a box it will break giving you whatever prize it contained. When you have broken a box the adjacent boxes will turn translucent red with silhouette of the unlockable along with the prerequisite for unlocking it. Looking at boxes you've already broken shows its name at the bottom of the screen, its fulfilled requirements beneath that and a picture of the prize to the left.
Over the course of the game, you accumulate Golden Hammers that you can use to break boxes you're having trouble unlocking. However, there are some windows that not even the Golden Hammers can break. Once a Golden Hammer is used, it never returns. So use it wisely.
