Below is a table of my favorite characters to play whenever I do it. Actually, I am able to play the majority of the cast at a decent level. Also, this is my own version of this table, so while the concept is similar to it, it is still not stolen from Toomai.

  • Matchup(+4)9T.png: I have a lot of control on this character, I love to play as it, and I commonly play as it.
  • Matchup(+3)9T.png: I have a lot of control on the character, I really like to play as it, and I commonly play as it, though less than the characters above.
  • Matchup(+2)9T.png: I have great control on this character, I like to play as it, and I usually play as it.
  • Matchup(+1)9T.png: I have good control on this character, and I may play as it.
  • Matchup(0)9T.png: I can play as this character, but I do not choose it a lot. Though if I choose "Random", I will play it.
  • Matchup(-1)9T.png: I play the character at a mediocre level, and I do not choose it a lot.
  • Matchup(-2)9T.png: I do not play this character.
  • Matchup(-3)9T.png: I do not play this character, and I cannot stand playing as it as I dislike the character.
Character competency chart -- SSB4
Matchup(+4)9T.png My favorite female character in videogames since 2011, especially thanks to Palutena's Revolting Dinner, this beautiful girl is my most played character, since the very beginning of the game's lifespan. Obviously I love her side taunt. I remember when she was first considered a mid-tier... now she is going down. Even worse, people close to me think she doesn't deserve customs because of having to turn on the "Custom Fighters" option. So since Mewtwo's return, I've tried to prove everyone wrong, and been watching Iceninja, my favorite player with her, so I can improve my abilities with her. I seriously do not think she's the worst, she could be much more than that if everybody started thinking like a Japanese player... (ahem, playing defensive with her and only using the MOST OPTIMAL F***ING PUNISH). I also would love her to be "Kirby" or "Ike" levels of buffed. My main since Brawl, because of his quirky nature, especially when he taunts. Love to troll with him and use him online. His combos, Judge and bucket gimmicks are my favorite part about him. GimR and Regi are my favorite players of him. I played Final Fantasy VII with a friend that had a PlayStation, so I know how amazing Cloud was: first overrating himself, then being more humble. Since his release, I thought of him being pretty good. Due to that, he's now a main, replacing Roy.
Matchup(+3)9T.png Since Melee, I liked Roy over Marth because of his sword's flame effects. Now that I grew up, I realized he was bad. Now that he's in SSB4, I decided to main him since he was notably buffed, but dropped him because CLOUD STRIFE. He's still a secondary though. Not many players of him, though Sethlon is pretty good. While not as aggresive or stylish as other players like Lythero, z0mfg or ZeRo, I like to play as him, ever since Melee. My favorite move from him is his up tilt. When I was a young lad, I really liked how Jigglypuff was depicted in the anime, and since I remembered those old days, I decided to use her in SSB4. Sadly, I think she is still one of the worst characters in SSB4 because she didn't improve from Brawl, in fact I think it is the worst character in 1v1s... This is a very special case since I would like to say that Omega Tyrant inspired me to play as him. The disrespect. The power. The dark side. Best Nintendo villain ever. OT also inspired me to play as him. Especially since he was buffed from Brawl. Though this time, my favorite player with him is Holy. I've liked Falco more than Fox, ever since Brawl. As he no longer has chaingrabs to his favor, I consider him to be more balanced and fitting to my playstyle (though that laser nerf did hurt a lot). I do think he has potential, but lacks tournament results to prove it.
Matchup(+2)9T.png Pretty balanced... AND BROKEN. Ally has demonstrated it. GET DUNKED ON. EXPAND DONG. I'm not the common Mac player. I've watched Chota, StylesX2 and Sol to keep improving. And I don't like to dash attack a lot with him. While no longer a character I play a lot, I've still fought for my friends with him since Brawl. Like Ryo, I switched to him in Brawl when I learned Roy was not on the roster. Ryo and San are my favorite players of him. I really love using the draconic waifu, but her playstyle is hard to get used to. Another character OT inspired me to play as. He's pretty fun to use. I obviously spam his infamous crouch. But I miss his previous back aerial. At first I didn't think a lot about him, but I've used him recently and came to the conclusion he's still broken. A friend uses him extremely clean, I always have to watch out for him pivot grabbing me with Meta Knight. MK Leo and Tyrant are my favorite players of him. FLARE BLITZ 4 DAYS. My favorite player of him is IntroSpecktive. I originally thought he was buffed from Melee and that he would be a lot better than his previous iteration. I was wrong. But Mewtwo still has many things going up for him, like his newly buffed combo ability and KO options as of 1.1.3. His hitboxes just need to match their attack trails and that's it: many Mewtwo problems solved. I don't like spammy Ness mains. I tend to play him non-spammer, but only for trolling purpouses. I originally played as it for fun, but after watching Mew2King and Dapuffster, I decided to use it more seriously. My personal Mii Brawler is Goku on a Fighter Uniform, and my build is the not surprising 2122. I don't think it is the worst Mii. It has a lot of versatility in its special moveset. My personal Mii Swordfighter is my Mii on a Ninja Outfit, and my build is 2131.
Matchup(+1)9T.png I've never won with Weegee by doing absolutely nothing, but it's fun to play as him. I like to troll unaware For Glory players by edge-trumping then down taunting on the edge. I originally used him since the release, but only play him for fun since I found him to still be slow, even though he has seen increased usage due to 1.1.3. I started to use him (as Roy) since FE's Roy returned from Melee. Also, one of my friends and top players from my region uses Bowser Jr., so he mostly inspired me to keep improving with him. Not fun to play against, but fun to play as. Abadango is my favorite player from him. HOO HAH. (No longer have a pocket Diddy since 1.0.8, but still think he's top tier because of his excellent neutral game.) I only use Link since I want to know the matchup. I also hate spammy Links. And finally, his Gale Boomerang should stop pulling opponents towards him with that strength, or be replaced with the normal Boomerang. If I know how to use Palu, then I know (more or less) how to use Pit as well. Earth is my favorite player of him. OW THE EDGE. (same as Pit but I have slightly more experience with him) I only play him to know the matchup because the same friend that uses Meta Knight also uses Marth with a lot of precision. I tend to be caught off guard by his mains. Unlike Ness, he is fun to play as, and I don't mind playing against him; since his learning curve is higher, I respect people more for not using a braindead character. I only play him when I'm really feeling it. AND HE IS VERY HARD TO USE (possibly the hardest character in this game due to his frame data issues unlike Ryu). But still very fun to use. GOTTA GO FAST, GOTTA GO FAST, GOTTA GO FASTER FASTER FASTER FASTER FASTER *electric guitar* :v (6WX, please refrain from getting rekt whenever you play, just look at what Ally and ZeRo have done to you) Originally, I started to play with him because I wanted to know the matchup, though I found his extremely difficult learning curve to be fun to learn, and then started to use him as well. I like to Focus Attack then "SURE-YOU-CAN" my opponents with him. May not be as good as Trela (my fav player with him), but still improving. Not much to say about it, only that it is my least used Mii, but still like to use it. My personal Mii is Proto Man on his armor, and my build is 3133.
Matchup(0)9T.png Dose up aerial and Flip Jump's meteor kick need nerfs. I also have a friend that uses her very clean, which is the same one that uses Meta Knight. Same as Marth. But she is MUCH cuter. Only tip the scales with him (or actually her?) for fun purpouses. DAT INFAMOUS LAUGHTER IN SLAUGHTER. He is very hard to use, so that's why I prefer Falco over Fox. I use him pretty much for fun. Not much to say. I used to main him alongside Toon Link, Ike, G&W and Palu to try to determine whether which of them would be my mains, but dropped him, due to his polarized frame data. He is crazy to watch though, in a good manner, especially with aMSa. Only use him for trolling purpouses, since he is very hard to use. Shoutouts to Abadango for knowing how to play as Pac-Man. Due to a perfect frame playstyle, hard to remember combos, and some similar inputs to Ryu, I've came to the conclusion Bayo is not a character I will find myself using a lot.
Matchup(-1)9T.png I dislike this character's playstyle, I think they could have done a lot better with her if Luma didn't accompany her. I also dislike to play against her. And her jab cancel and Gentlestar's power NEED TO DISSAPEAR FROM THIS UNIVERSE. He is pretty hard to use so I don't play as Yoshi, but overall I don't mind playing against him. Not used to him since the game's release, and dropped him since I found him to be unfitting for me after a while, unlike Link. Though I still think he is the superior Link. Meh. Very boring to watch her, except if it's Mr. R or ZeRo. Dude she also needs nerfs, especially to her forward aerial's range and landing lag. ...does she still exist in the game? KILL THEM. KILL THEM ALL. I have a friend that mains him, which is the same friend that uses Meta Knight, Marth and ZSS. Outside of that topic, Ranai is my favorite player of him. I used him in the demo version and loved to play as him, because he is my favorite newcomer alongside Cloud Strife and Palu. But his playstyle was unfitting for me. Unlike Rosie, I don't mind playing against him. My favorite player of him is StylesX2.
Matchup(-2)9T.png Her playstyle is harder for me to master unlike Ryu's and Shulk's due to all her gimmicks like floating, Vegetable chances and quirky frame data. I also dislike her extremely clean aerial game. Don't get me wrong, I love Zelda, but she is unfitting for me :/ Like Peach and Zelda, unfitting for me.
Matchup(-3)9T.png My most disliked matchup. Since the game's release, I dislike Kirby with a passion since I think he is better than Brawl due to the removal of hitstun cancelling. And also because of his squeakier voice. I always sigh of relief when I defeat his players. It's ironic I dislike him in SSB4 since I liked him in Brawl. Same as Kirby, but on a more exaggerated tone when it comes to acknowledging he is better than in Brawl. Respect to those who mastered his frame data, though. While not my most disliked matchup, he's still my most disliked character since Brawl, but this is due to personal conflicts explained above, on a different section. Quick frame data, strong smashes, small size, he has combos, a kill throw, excellent recovery and because of this, he seems to never die. I HATE OLIMAR. Sorry if this offends you...

Notes

  • I have used Lady Palutena, Mr. Game & Watch, Ike, Captain Falcon, Ganondorf and the Miis since the very beginning, and haven't stopped playing as them. I have also used Roy since he first was released (because Melee hype ;] ).
  • Some of my old and most played characters were Toon Link (who I ironically play worse han Link), Greninja and Little Mac.
  • I played as Link and Mega Man in the demo but stopped playing as them because I loved to play more as my mains when I got the full version.
  • I do like Rosie outside of Smash, but I dislike her playstyle and as a result, I play her mediocrely. Same with Mega Man (as mentioned above).
  • I dislike playing against Wario, but I actually play him than others like Pikachu. He is also fun to play as.
  • Nairo indirectly convinced me of playing Dr. Mario.
  • Although I sometimes play the character (though this is just for troll purpouses), I dislike playing against Ness because he is braindead (he has a low learning curve to play him decently) and has a lot of people that main him.
  • Similar to Ness, even though I sometimes play the character (though this is just for troll purpouses), I dislike playing against Zero Suit Samus because she is braindead (she has a low learning curve to play her decently), she can easily be disrespectful to you and because she has a lot of people that main her! I do not dislike people that main her tho, and I actually like the character a lot outside of Smash.
