The Ultimate Battle is a co-op event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Both players must choose a character and take on all playable fighters (except Mii Fighters) in the game. The order of the characters go from clones to 3DS unlockable newcomers, 3DS unlockable Brawl veterans, 3DS unlockable Melee veterans, 3DS unlockable Smash 64 veterans, third party characters, starting newcomers, starting Brawl veterans, starting Melee veterans, and finally starting Smash 64 veterans which includes the "Original 8" in reverse order.
