Hungrybox is a professional Super Smash Bros. Melee smasher, widely considered to be the best Jigglypuff main in the world by a considerable margin. He is considered to be one of the top 6 players in the world, due to consistent placements in top 6 at national events. He is one of the smashers to be sponsored by Team Curse. Hungrybox was also previously sponsored by CLASH Tournaments, although he still keeps a close relationship with his former team for his produced content. Hungrybox is currently ranked 1st on the Florida Melee Power Rankings.

While Hungrybox doesn't actively play Brawl, he is known to have a rather competent Jigglypuff in it despite Jigglypuff's drastic nerfs and his own lack of practice in it, to the point that he's considered one of the best Jigglypuff players in Brawl. Hungrybox was once even ranked on Florida's Brawl Power Rankings using a combination of King Dedede and Jigglypuff.

Hungrybox was one of the 16 players at Super Smash Bros. Invitational, placing 2nd. He used Kirby. At the tournament's end, he challenged Nintendo President and COO Reggie Fils-Aimé to a "For Glory" match after he had teased possible future Nintendo-sponsored tournaments. Fils-Aimé declined, admitting that he "sucks at Smash", but that his "opportunity was coming with Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS." He concluded his response by saying he'd "come back next time and kick your [Hungrybox's] ass," much to the pleasure of the audience.

Trivia

  • Hungrybox 4-stocked Mew2King in a money match on a large projection screen at Event 52 prior to the finals. Mew2King won the set, but Cactuar gave him a dollar anyway, stating "Hungrybox 4-stocked Mew2King, and here is his dollar," as he delivered it to Hungrybox.
