Low Tier City is a tournament series held annually in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex in Texas. The event began as a Project M tournament series, but other Smash games were eventually added. The tournament attracts top players from all around the country, making it the largest tournament series in Texas. After Low Tier City Expo 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the series returned in 2023.

A new annual tournament series called Low Tide City was started in Round Rock, Texas in 2021, running Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and other games. Another annual series called Lost Tech City was started in San Antonio, Texas in 2022, also with Smash 64, Melee, Ultimate, and other games.
