Ivysaur (SSBB)

Ivysaur (フシギソウ, Fushigisou in the Japanese versions) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it is one of three Pokémon that can be played when Pokémon Trainer is selected from the game's character select screen, the other two being Squirtle and Charizard.

Ivysaur is rare sight as a fighter, because it is a specifically quadrupedal character, even in comparison to Pikachu and Pichu who alternate between bipedal and quadrupedal action.

Pokemon Trainer was recently playable at the Whobby 2008 event. Most people felt that Ivysaur was the more Balanced of the three Pokemon.
