Laid, formerly known as Koolaid, is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate player from New England who mains Lucina main and has a variety of secondaries, including Pac-Man, Marth, Pit, Snake, Incineroar, and Wario. He is currently ranked 5th on the Massachusetts Smash Ultimate Power Rankings and 6th on the New England Ultimate Power Rankings; he was also formerly ranked 37th on the Wi-Fi Warrior Rank v5. He has wins over players such as Marss, Light, Raffi-X, Gen, and YoutubeMan.
In other Smash games, Laid was a Meta Knight player with a Pit secondary in Brawl and a Sheik player in SSB4. He is widely considered to be the best Brawl Pit player in the United States, but he later switched to Meta Knight due to Pit's bad matchup against other Meta Knight players. Laid is currently ranked 1st and 3rd on the New England Brawl and Smash 4 Power Rankings, respectively, and was formerly ranked 46th on the 2014 SSBBRank. He was considered one of the best SSB4 Pac-Man players in the world after Abadango dropped the character with wins over players like False, Pugwest, Marss, and NAKAT, though he has since dropped the character in favor of Sheik. However, Laid does sometimes use Pac-Man for those inexperienced in the matchup, and he most notably used the character when fighting Javi at CEO 2017 where he won 2-1. With Sheik, he has notably taken sets off Nairo, Salem, Light, Marss, and Rags.
