Trivia

  • With an initial base stat of 189 for both Offense and Defense, Dan is the weakest Primary Spirit in terms of Defense from the entire base game. This is a reference to his status as an intentionally-weak "joke" character in the Street Fighter series.
    • However, it is not the weakest spirit in terms of Offense, losing to Absolutely Safe Capsule, which holds an initial (and permanent) base stat of 0 for Offense, and Rock Pikmin with a base stat of 172 for Offense.
  • Akuma has the highest attack stat out of any spirit in the game, maxing out at 7941 at Level 99.
  • Cody is the only Street Fighter spirit to originate from a non-Street Fighter game, although Final Fight and Street Fighter do take place in the same universe.
  • All Street Fighter spirit battles are Stamina Battles with reduced jump power. This is a reference to Street Fighter having only stamina battles as well as more ground based in nature.
  • As with the main series Street Fighter titles, the names for Balrog, Vega, and M. Bison were switched around for Western releases. In Japan, Balrog is known as Mike Bison, Vega is known as Balrog, and M. Bison is known as Vega. Within the fighting game community, the three are known colloquially as "Boxer", "Claw", and "Dictator" respectively.
    • Akuma also shares this distinction, being known as Gouki in the Japanese release.
