Trela is an Ultimate Banjo & Kazooie and Hero player with a strong Ridley secondary from Texas. He is considered one of the best Ridley players in the world, along with Tweek and Locus. He was previously ranked 3rd on the Texas Ultimate Power Rankings. Trela has taken sets off VoiD, Daybreak, Awestin, and Skilly.

In SSB4, Trela was a Ryu player, and was considered the best Ryu player in the world prior to both Locus's rise and his initial retirement. Trela is currently ranked 4th on the Texas Smash 4 Power Rankings and 65th on the Panda Global Rankings 100. He has taken sets off of top players such as ZeRo, Larry Lurr, MkLeo, Mr.R, VoiD, Zinoto, ESAM, Mr E, and Rich Brown.

In SSBB, he was a Lucario player, and was considered the best Lucario player in the world. Trela was formerly ranked 27th on the 2014 SSBBRank, and 3rd on the Texas Brawl Power Rankings.

On June 22nd, 2016, Trela was signed by Panda Global.[1] On January 2nd, 2017, Panda Global announced that alongside SS, Trela would be departing the organisation.[2][3]

On March 26th, 2017, following the conclusion of 2GGC: Civil War, Trela announced his initial retirement from the competitive scene.[4]

Trela has since made a semi return to the competitive scene, placing 4th at Clutch City Clash 2 and 1st at many Houston weeklies.

Tag origin

Trela's tag is derived from his name, Alberto. He removed the 'b' and the 'o', and left with Alert, he reversed it, creating Trela.
