Round 61: Shadow vs. Grey Fox

		Winner!! Shadow 22 to 15.5
Two dark-coated not-so-heroes, both the Assist Trophy representing their non-Nintendo series, and both having a bit of a rocky relationship with those series' figureheads. Which is the better of the two? REMINDER: If you haven't already done so, read the updated rules above.

Round 62: Mario vs. Dr. Mario

		Winner!! Tie 18 to 18
While it's unclear why the famous plumber has a medical alter-ego (or even if he's certified), one thing's for sure: the Doctor knows what he's doing as much as Mario's regular state knows how to rough up Bowser. Which one of the two is the greater one?
Votes for Mario There's a reason why Mario is able to beat Bowser hundreds of times, while Dr. Mario only works as a doctor.Mario is obviously better. But the ones that returned in brawl were at least sort of reworked, which was enough for me. And I'm sure the ones left out would have gotten reworked as well. Except for Dr. Mario. I really just can't see him progressing as a fighter at all, even if he were to return. The thing about the other clones is that they have the potential to gain new moves, and generally differentiate themselves from their clone counterparts. Dr. Mario was just a mere costume change of Mario with some minor move edits, which just isn't enough for me. That's really all he will ever be. Comments Maybe there shouldn't be two competing characters from different metagames. Mario is from Brawl (the picture) and Dr. Mario is from Melee. It could be confusing and hard to decide. Round 63: 75m vs. Green Hill Zone

		Winner!! Green Hill Zone 14.5 to 25
While neither of these stages are tournament-friendly, they're both located in places that started their respective series (and arguably the big two gaming streams of the 90s). Is the iconic construction site or the loopy grassland the more popular battleground?
Votes for 75m It's fun throwing barrels as Donkey Kong on this stage in Brawl Minus. Plus, overly large stages > overly small stages for me. Doctor Pain 99 (CTE) 16:45, 4 December 2010 (EST) I'm not really a fan of either, but here's the thing. Green Hill zone is subject to tons of kills on the sides. Sure this is true with 75m as well, but it's bigger, and ergo less likely. Both stages are very cramped, but 75m is a bigger cramp, so yeah, I'm having trouble getting my point across on that one, heh. The spinning checkpoints are WAY cheaper than the fire guys and DK. DK can be easily avoided, the fire guys are a pain, but not too bad. The only things are the springs, which I admit are annoying as Meta Knight's Tornado! Hey, I never said I liked 75m, it's just the least bad of the two. And on a side note, I absolutely HATE the Sonic music. My least favorite songs of the series come from there primarily. There are a few good ones, like the Green Hill Zone theme song, but those annoying-arse songs like Seven Rings in Hand are just weird. We don't need sappy rock songs during a Brawl. And I don't even want to speak about Sonic Racers 'shudders'. I like all three of 75m's songs. 25 BGM was very nostalgic for me (sure I'm a teenager, but I used to play my fair share of old video games, like Donkey Kong), the Donkey Kong remix was just awesome and fun, and the Donkey Kong opening was just...yeah. Not bad. So! There was have it, 75m has my vote. My very long vote at that. Round 65: Bowser vs. King Dedede

It's the two not-exactly-protagonist aspiring tyrants with the goal of doing whatever the heck they want. After destroying their nemesis. Dedede may have the massive hammer and ability to fly, but Bowser's got his spiked shell and fire breath, while both have minions that mostly do bodychecks. Which is the king of this fight?

Let's start with Bowser. As the antagonist (and sometimes anti-hero) of the series, he's become a surprising favorite for many people. Just like most villains, he commands his own little army, and although the monsters in it seem weak, there sure are a lot of them. From a Brawl standpoint, he has strong attacks, an awesome Final Smash (no knockback!), and one of my favorite moves: Flying Slam. Whenever I get a stock advantage, I just keep using it — and I almost never lose. Then again, there is that glaring speed problem, and his recovery leaves something to be desired. Now let's shift our view to King Dedede, the Koopa King's Kirby counterpart. Unlike Bowser, he could be classified more as an anti-hero than an antagonist most of the time. His own army is practically equal to Bowser's, the main difference being that D3's soldiers are much more varied. What about the penguin in Brawl? He has strong attacks, an awesome Final Smash (Big Gay Dance!... Wait, haven't I already used this format?), and his own suicide move in Inhale. Unlike Bowser, however, he can actually survive it. Also, Dedede can jump five times (that penguin can fly!) and his recovery move is excellent. Sorry, Bowser, but you're only second-best.
