Bahamut ZERO is a summon from the Final Fantasy series.
In Super Smash Bros. 4
As a stage element
Bahamut ZERO appears as one of the summons on Midgar. When it appears, it attacks with Teraflare, a flare that destroys the background and creates a continuously damaging pillar of light on the stage.
Origin
Bahamut appears in the first Final Fantasy game as the King of Dragons. Upon encountering Bahamut in a cave, the Light Warriors are sent on an optional side quest to bring Bahamut a rat tail from the Castle of Ordeals. Doing so grants the Light Warriors a class change. Bahamut subsequently appears as a summoned monster from Final Fantasy III onward. Final Fantasy VII was the first game to introduce other forms of Bahamut such as Neo Bahamut, and Bahamut ZERO, while the sequel film Advent Children features an antagonistic Bahamut SIN.
