It's vandalism. Red (talk) Red 22:29, 10 June 2014 (EDT)
Uh, no it isn't. Check Nintendo's official Twitter. ChuckNorris24.png 22:30, 10 June 2014 (EDT)
He was confirmed in the Nintendo World Report, I couldn't access it because the servers crashed. ZeldaStarfoxfan2164 (talk) is made in America 22:32, 10 June 2014 (EDT)
As Toomai posted, here's the twitter link. Dots (talk) Link OoT Dots.PNG The Republic 22:34, 10 June 2014 (EDT)

Found a typo. "avdertising" should be "advertising". Cyanlaser121 (talk) 11:00, 11 June 2014 (EDT)

PAC-Man?

I am pretty sure that it's spelled "PAC-Man." Can someone verify? Link PWNS (talk) 05:15, 14 June 2014 (EDT)

On the official site it's said as "Pac-Man". (Look at the bottom list of characters.) Laikue (talk) 09:55, 14 June 2014 (EDT)

Why Bonus Fruit and the move with Namco characters and items are different.

I was worried that some people would be confused, but upon close inspection it can be seen that Bonus Fruit and Pac-Man's move with various Namco properties are separate moves. When using Bonus Fruit, Pac-Man has a certain expression on his face and is looking up. However, his expression and pose are different when he summons Namco characters and items. We know that Bonus Fruit is Pac-Man's neutral special move, so I am guessing that the latter is a taunt. Lumastar (talk) 2:35, 19 June 2014 (EDT)

Given that he is shown throwing the alien from Galaxian in his trailer, it seems the Namco entities are attacks as well. As Luigi and Snake prove that taunts can be damaging, it's too soon to say what kind of move it is. Miles (talk) 02:37, 19 June 2014 (EDT)
It could also be an alternate customized neutral special; really there are so many things it could be that there's no use even trying. FirstaLasto 02:44, 19 June 2014 (EDT)
Actually, I did a little digging and apparently the Galaxian ship is a later "fruit" bonus item in some cases. Nevertheless, it's ambiguous what exactly is going on. Miles (talk) 02:48, 19 June 2014 (EDT)

Initial Reveal

Technically, Pac-Man wasn't revealed by Nintendo's Twitter. He was revealed at the Smash Bros. Roundtable at E3, which the Twitter account was reporting on. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 02:33, 27 June 2014 (EDT)

This is correct. The tweet came AFTER Pac-Man was announced at the Super Smash Bros. Roundtable. Lumastar (talk) Lumastar Green Luma.jpg

Wii U Icon

Anyone know that Pac-Man's icon in the Wii U version has his thumb sticking out rather than his left arm. (Smashworker101 (talk) 18:31, 27 December 2014 (EST))

We did know. Rtzxy Reflect.jpg Reflect! 18:33, 27 December 2014 (EST)
Well, is there any information about it? (Smashworker101 (talk) 18:35, 27 December 2014 (EST))
The only information for this is images of it; no reason as to why this is so. Rtzxy Reflect.jpg Reflect! 19:03, 27 December 2014 (EST)
Sorry to bump this, but are we planning on doing anything about this? It doesn't seem right to use only the 3ds icons. FirstaLasto 13:31, 5 February 2015 (EST)

Bonus Fruit names

Some of the bonus fruits have been given names that are clearly wrong to anyone familiar with PAC-MAN's games. The "Green Ball" is a cantaloupe (a kind of melon), the "Umbrella" is a Galaxian flagship, and the "Jelly" is a bell. There's a reason why the so-called "Umbrella" loops around the way it does and makes its distinctive noises. 67.5.99.33 13:59, 3 January 2015 (EST)

Pac Man can crawl

Just read the headline. Enough said. 72.105.76.48 14:05, 11 January 2015 (EST)
