The first player I brawled online. The first time I brawled (which was right after I fixed my Wii's wi-fi and started brawling online), I probably had a -2 matchup against him. He uses Snake mainly, also uses Marth, and sometimes Ike. He won the majority of the matchups, but I was able to beat his Marth with Meta Knight solidly, and he did really badly with Ike against my Falco. His Snake was good and I wasn't able to beat it, though I did come close. His Marth was also good and he did get a tipper f-smash in one of the first matches, but in the last matches he didn't do so well.

I brawled him a second time, playing 3-player matches with him and Boo Buddy, but I originally intended for the matches to be just me vs. him, so I put it here. He won three, I won two, and Boo Buddy won one. Since they were 3-player matches I don't really know what the matchup is, but I might have improved against him compared to before.

I'll have to play him 1-on-1 again to see if this is true. However he doesn't brawl much and it's hard to find a good time to brawl him again.

Omega Tyrant

A professional player, who is also an admin on the wiki. He comains Wolf and King Dedede, but also uses quite a variety of other characters, mostly Snake and R.O.B. He beat me in virtually all of the matches. The only time I won was a match where I was MK and he was Ganondorf. I also came close to beating his Lucario with MK. But I could barely take any stocks off his Wolf and Dedede. He is overall a very good player who knows the technical aspects of the characters he uses very well, and what attacks to use at what times. After playing him the third time, I still couldn't take a game off him, but we had some close matches.

Boo Buddy

A player who I met recently. He solo mains Bowser, but originally mained Donkey Kong, and rarely uses some other characters (mostly in 3-way matches). His Bowser is notable for using techniques such as sacrificial KOs and grab release followups. He sometimes has a tendency to use Bowser Bomb to attack from above - while this is very punishable, it can get a pretty early KO if you let your guard down. He's pretty good OoS, but he doesn't shield well, and has poor defences in general. He also struggles with combos outside of grab release followups. Combined with the fact that he can rely on smashes for KOs, he's rather predictable. Overall a pretty good player though.

Dr. Pain 99

A decent player who mainly used Marth. He likes to use Marth's f-smash a lot, as well as Shield Breaker. His offstage game was rather limited. I can't really remember anything else.

A very good Meta Knight player who uses MK's fast attacks and movement to his advantage and is pretty good at edgeguarding. He uses air camping frequently, and so if you can't handle camping well, you'll easily get frustated. He won most of the matches. Even after rematching him a few times, I couldn't make the matchup any better. We had some really close matches though. He does certainly have a few predictable things, like using edge drop -> Shuttle Loop a lot, but he has to be among the best players on the wiki.

Smash Master

Only played three matches because my connection fucked up. I don't remember anything about our matches. I hope to play him again soon to get a more accurate matchup, but he is rather inactive on the wiki and I haven't seen him since we brawled.

ToastUltimatum

We played a few matches, where I won more often than not, but he picked up some good wins. With Toon Link he uses projectiles well and is good in the air, but he has a tendency to use dair from above, and he might have a bit of trouble edgeguarding. His Mario was pretty good. He also likes to meteor smash. For the last few matches, some of his YouTube friends joined the group, and we played two free-for-alls.

I brawled him again recently, and I was still able to win the majority of the matches, although I have to say he is a very competent player. He sometimes screwed up by accidentally using Toon Link's dair offstage though. An IRC user called Katarzyna joined in after some time (can be seen below).

I'm not including a matchup here because our matches weren't really serious. Most were on banned stages too. But we did have quite a lot of fun, doing stupid things like trying to get 0.1m in HRC.

I won every match. His skill is probably a bit below average, but he wasn't terrible. Unfortunately he sometimes rages and claims to be a shitty player, even though he's better than some casuals I know. For most of the matches he used Marth, having a bit of trouble KOing but being okay with aerial attacks. He didn't really stand a chance against my Pikachu, Falco, and Fox though.

A respected bureaucrat on the wiki. He has the technical knowledge of OT but the skill of a very average player. He apparently mains Yoshi but used random characters most of the time. I won most of the matches

A relatively good player who mains Falco and Meta Knight, with a King Dedede and Kirby secondary, while often using a variety of other characters. He didn't stand out in too many aspects. We played a lot of matches, with me winning the majority. Had some 3-way matches with him and Boo Buddy too, which were quite fun.

A user also called Rain who appeared on the IRC when I brawled Toast for the second time. She joined in our matches, and after Toast had to go, we played some singles matches. She's pretty competent and is able to desynch with the Ice Climbers, as well as utilize Shellshifting with Squirtle quite well. However she mostly relies on smashes for KOs and has trouble keeping up with my Fox and Meta Knight, as well as not being hard to edgeguard.
