Pikachu (ピカチュウ, Pikachū) will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4. It is to appear in both the 3DS and the Wii U versions of the game.

Confirmed information

• Pikachu's appearance has been updated to match the newest Pokémon games such as PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure; it is even skinnier in the chest than before.
• Pikachu can still crawl.
• Skull Bash and Thunder appear unchanged.
