Talk:Zero gravity glitch
Is this really a glitch. I've seen stuff like this happen before, and not just with the setup provided. All that happens is that solid ground in SSBM/SSBB isn't programed to apply force back at a moving object. All it does is block the forward motion of said object. That being the case, all that is happening here is that a character has impetus towards a wall. The wall obviously blocks that character from going through it, but SSBB walls don't negate the impetus or apply reverse impetus. Therefore, the character continues to follow its momentum vector, even though it can't go through the wall. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 16:19, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
- I think it's a glitch, as I've always seen characters bounce off ceilings, even at around 400% damage. It seems to be a glitch with the physics of "how far a high damaged character goes" or something. Silverdragon706/FyreNWater - (T • C ) 02:01, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Another way to execute Zero Gravity (in Super Smash Bros. 4)?
I'm pretty sure in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the Rocket Belt can cause this similarly.
