Anyone who's played as lucario probably noticed he has amazing techniques on stages made of ice. Running up, foward, and down smashes are pretting good (especially up smash), do you know any?TheLegendTamer (talk) 16:21, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Here's one: If you're on a stage with ice, and you use your own PK to channel the Ice Man, he'll show up and do an attack. But that attack will be stronger if you use your dolphin energy field. You see, the programmers might believe in the Ice man and PK so it's probably coded into the game that if you also do, the game will pick up on your PK and bring him out. It's just an interesting possibility. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 16:54, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

I don't understand how you would think this is true. Edit: Allow me to rephrase. I don't understand how you wouldn't notice that it isn't directly proportional to the traction a character has, and has nothing to do with whatever universe/background a character has. @TheLegendTamer: Yes, I've been studying about this. Characters with attacks with long (time-related term) hitboxes do very well at ice stages. When the character continues the attack while moving, the hitbox also moves with the character. Lucario is perhaps the best example, with his smashes lasting far longer than others; and yes I'm very sure that the Lucario in Brawl is the one from the movie... :] SapphireKirby777 ~Behold! -.- 19:24, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

OK, it really doesn't matter if that's the lucario from the movie. It has absolutely no impact on gameplay. As for the smashes, yes, no kidding that you slide while using them. This can even be done on non-ice covered stages if the traction of the character is low enough to slide. But it has nothing, nothing to do with Lucario being in the movie. It has to do with weight and traction properties of the characters. Oh, and it's a great thing that there are so many tourney stages with ice on them, or this would be useless.
