After the match
After you finish the match for the first time, you'll fight Pichu at the Pokémon Stadium. You both will only have one life. Pichu fights just like Pikachu, but is even smaller and faster. Defeating Pichu successfully will allow you to use him as a playable character. If you lose, you'll have to redo the event match to get another try.
