Dragoon Strike is the 13th solo event match in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The player fights as Kirby and fights against a team of 3 Warios. The player must collect the 3 Dragoon Parts and KO the opponents with the completed Dragoon. KO'ing the opponents with anything other than the dragoon will not count.
- Clearing this event match unlocks the Legendary Air Ride music from Kirby Air Ride.
Strategies
Make sure all 3 Warios are gathered together to complete this as fast as possible. If you just want the song, then take it as easily as you like.
Remember, as mentioned above, KO'ing the Warios with anything but the Dragoon does not count. The pieces are relatively fast to spawn so make sure you collect them as quickly as possible. Do not waste your time fighting the Warios, instead, keep shielding, dodge-rolling, and using your air jumps and air-dodging; basically, avoid the Warios and just scout out the Dragoon pieces.
The only time it is worth attacking the Warios is when they pick up a Dragoon piece, so using strong or multi-hit moves works to make them drop it (such as Kirby's neutral standard attack and his Final Cutter for multi hits, and the Hammer and Stone attacks for power). If the Wario does not drop the piece, KO'ing him makes him drop it for certain, but obviously you must KO him again with the completed Dragoon. Thankfully, on lower difficulties (Easy), the Warios normally make little attempt to take the pieces anyway, and the only threat is of them making you drop it, so continue to avoid them.
Again, when the Dragoon is completed, wait until the Warios assemble as closely as possible before driving into them; you have around seven seconds of waiting time before you are forced to launch. You can take them down one at a time, but it greatly lengthens the time of the event and increases your chance of failure (being KO'd). That said, you have two Lives, so you can probably afford to miss one of the Warios.
