Battleship Halberd Exterior (戦艦ハルバード 外部, Battleship Halberd Exterior) is the 24th stage in the Subspace Emissary of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Overview
The level immediately follows the events of Battleship Halberd Interior. Peach and Zelda (the latter assuming the guise of Sheik, though she can transform back anytime in the level), are seen leaving the room in which they had been, going against the recommendation by Snake not to.
At the end of level, the pair find themselves on the Halberd's deck, standing near the Combo Cannon. Fox's Arwing flies overhead, firing at and destroying the Combo Cannon, startling the nearby Peach. Not knowing what Fox's intentions were, Sheik teleports onto Fox's Arwing and smashes the cockpit covering, making Fox lose control. Fox ejects and the two fall to the deck below, ready to fight, but are interrupted by Peach. The princess offers a cup of tea to Fox, who, in confusion, looks at Sheik to see her drinking tea herself. Fox too decides to accept the tea.
Playable Characters
Fox is not playable in this level, but rejoins the team after this level is completed. Peach and Zelda/Sheik will also rejoin, with the one who was not rescued in the Midair Stadium giving the player a notification.

Music
- The music in the level is Meta Knight's Revenge.
- When Fox bombards the Halberd, Space Battleground plays.
Trivia
- The title of the stage is somewhat misleading; much of the level takes place inside the ship.
- There is a Mizzo in the display room of the Halberd. This is the only place where one is encountered, a fact referenced within the description of the Mizzo trophy itself.
- The destructible ceiling concealing a key item contains a hidden bomb block inside, which produces the explosion, and the destruction of the ceiling. Because of this, it is technically possible to destroy the ceiling without the Quark Mine, but only indirect attacks are capable of doing so, as the block simply absorbs direct attacks.
- Although the cutscenes before and after the level feature Sheik, the player is free to play as Zelda via Transform.
- This is one of the 4 pre-Subspace levels which features background music not from the universe of the characters that went through it, the others being Sea of Clouds, The Ruins and The Swamp (Kirby on a level with Sheik/Zelda and Peach).
