SW:SOCK

Your IP has been traced back to IceBurn, BoltStrike, and FreezeShock, while the same style of username, userpage, and editing pattern makes it extra obvious these are all your socks. I don't know what you were planning with them, but even if your intentions were not malicious, you are only allowed to have one account. Since this is your first offense and you have appeared to be a constructive user beforehand, your first block will be rather lenient, but get caught making a sock again, and the next ban will be much more severe. Do not create low effort articles

Hi, I seen you recently created a move article for Zamus' down special, where you just created an empty page with hitbox images. At the very least these articles require the actual move data alongside other necessities like relevant templates plus categories, and creating a half-assed article just for the sake of removing a red link (or to claim you "created" an article) is severely frowned upon here, don't do that again. My bad, I just wanted to add hitbox images to the page, it wasn't my intention to claim I created the page. SacredFire37 (talk) 23:13, April 6, 2021 (EDT)
Creating a page is not the issue. The issue is that the page was barren. People can access the hitboxes through the characters' main pages as the hitboxes have a page of their own.Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 23:23, April 6, 2021 (EDT)
Well if I plan on adding things to the page again, I'll make sure to add its overview description and frame data (I'd probably have to look through the scripts for that). SacredFire37 (talk) 17:09, April 7, 2021 (EDT)
Generally, the pages I haven't done (I made the majority of the move pages) are left undone because the data is a bit complicated and in most cases way too difficult to understand. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 17:35, April 9, 2021 (EDT)

Uploads

If you upload a duplicate file to change a name, mark the unintended one for deletion with {{d}}. Alternatively you can move the file and then mark the redirect for deletion.

Also, SmashWiki is not an image hosting service. Previously you uploaded 8 images (4 of which were "prof pics" like you just uploaded), they all went unused and as such were marked for deletion. If you need a place to upload images, there are other sites dedicated to that. --CanvasK (talk) 06:11, May 14, 2021 (EDT)

Okay, my mistake. Is there a way to upload a profile pic image from another site? SacredFire37 (talk) 19:08, May 15, 2021 (EDT)

If you want to have a profile pic, such as having it on your user page in an infobox, then you can upload to the wiki. If you want to use an image from elsewhere, then I think you can just use the image link. For example using imgur, I think you can do "https://i.imgur.com/BlahBlahBlah.png"; not sure if other sites work but I've seen imgur images being embedded before. --CanvasK (talk) 19:14, May 15, 2021 (EDT)
Alright, thank you. SacredFire37 (talk) 19:46, May 15, 2021 (EDT)
