Mr. Doom is a Yoshi main in Smash 4 from Wichita, Kansas, and was also a well-known Ike main in Brawl. As the top ranked player on the Wichita Smash 4 Power Ranking, he is the undisputed best player in the region. He meets with the Wichita Crew often, and teams with other Wichita Crew members for doubles, such as Steeler, Holms, and Clel.

Playstyle

He is known for being skilled with his characters and playing a rather tightly focused game that may appear repetitive on the surface, but is more cerebral than blind spamming. His Ike in Brawl is known for effectively utilizing his jabbing techniques and combos, as well as recovering quite well. Mr. Doom's signature kill is an Aether spike, a method of KOing he's very proud of pulling off. In Smash 4, Mr. Doom displays solid skill with Yoshi, playing and beating many other players in the Wichita area. He additionally plays Larry, making great use of the character's aerials and having relative mastery of his set-ups. Mr. Doom hopes to change the Wichita fighting scene by encouraging local players to choose unique characters and bring flavor to Wichita.

Mr. Doom is most notable, however, for his extraordinary SDI capabilities in Brawl, described by players as being TAS-like, examples of which were shown in montages on YouTube. This lead to pulling off particularly exceptional SDI becoming known as "Doom SDI" in the Smash community, and when smashers uploaded their own videos showing off exceptional cases of SDI, the videos would be often entitled "[smasher's name]'s SDI sucks" in reference to the video titles of Mr. Doom's SDI montages.
