Fly Amanita is an American smasher who uses Ice Climbers in Melee, and is considered to be one of the best Ice Climbers players in the world, along with Nintendude, ChuDat, dizzkidboogie, and Wobbles. Fly Amanita was formerly ranked 30th on the 2015 SSBMRank and 10th on the SoCal Melee Power Rankings.
At EVO 2014, Fly Amanita managed to place 7th in Melee singles. He defeated Ice 2-1 and Nintendude 2-0 in the winners' quarters pool before losing to Armada 0-2, and then defeated Chillin 2-0 in the losers' bracket to make into the top 8 bracket from losers'. In losers' top 8, he brought PPMD down to the last stock of game 3, but eventually lost 1-2. Fly Amanita's best placing ever was at Press Start placing 2nd losing 6-0 to Mango.
