2GG: Pay It Forward was a regional tournament held by Champ at the eSports Arena center in Santa Ana, California on October 29th, 2016. It was a free-to-enter tournament (outside of venue fees) to commemorate 2GGaming's achievements throughout 2016, which include a 10,000 subscribers milestone on YouTube, the most-viewed channel on Twitch at a time and one of the top 10 largest Smash Wii U tournaments of all time, that being 2GGT: Abadango Saga. Despite the lack of a tournament fee, a prize pot of $3,173.50 was provided by 2GGaming themselves and 2GGift Shop donations.
