Introduction to me

YES, I MAIN THE WORST CHARACTER IN THE GAME. I KNOW SHE GOT CRIPPLED BY PATCH 1.1.1, I KNOW SHE'S UNPOPULAR AT HIGH-, MID-, AND EVEN LOW-LEVEL PLAY AT THE SAME TIME, AND SHE'LL POSSIBLY WON'T GET BUFFED, AND I STILL MAIN HER. S'up everybody, my name is Edward and I'm just your average smasher. My favorite videogame universes in general would be the Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Game & Watch, Kid Icarus, Final Fantasy and Mega Man. I've been playing the Smash Bros. series since Melee came out though it's been a long time since then, and I don't this game competitively. I started to play competitively since SSB4 came out, maining mai waifu, Lady Palutena, since the very beginning. I regularly watch streams from VGBootCamp, CLASH Tournaments, Most Valuable Gaming or Tourney Locator, mainly Melee and SSB4 streams. While I don't play Melee competitively, it's very hype to watch sets from Melee players, and that's why I also watch Melee streams as well.

My region is relatively small compared to other regions on the Mexican SSB4 scene, with only our best players traveling outside of the region to smash it out on other places like Jalisco or Mexico City. I'm the only player one that uses Palutena competitively in my region, employing a playstyle that focuses more on mindgames: I feint attacks and bait the opponent's shield, as well as react to what the opponent would normally do in those situtions, so they drop their guard and I can make my move, instead of directly deciding to play footsies, turtle and/or "shield at close range" so I can find and opening. I combine that with all my options such as B-reversed Autoreticle, Reflect Barrier to gimp, and the ocassional ledge-cancelled Warp, though I cannot make use of perfect pivots since my only ontroller is my 3DS. I'm also currently retired from Smash competitively for some time, technicall dissappearing from my competitive scene after a huge upset I suffered recently.

Lady Palutena, which is the girl on one of my templates below, is my favorite Nintendo girl and mai waifu, and I'm proud of it (other girls I really like include Rosie, but actually I have few skill to play her alongside my other characters).
I do not have a set schedule to play.
My favorite Nintendo character for life is Mr. Game & Watch (which is the reason my username is BeepYou, because of his "beeps").
My most hated Nintendo character is Olimar, because his reliance on a very small and frail race is too much.
I literally have no money for a Wii U, so if you want to play against me, it'll have to be on the 3DS. Sorry.
Even so, I have all the custom moves unlocked and all the trophies in the 3DS version.

Below is a table of my favorite characters to play whenever I choose them. Despite usually sticking to two or three, I am able to play the majority of the cast at least at a decent level. Also, this is KinglerMaster's version of this table, so credit goes to him for letting me use the concept (though I did modify it a bit to suit myself).

: I have a lot of control on this character, I love to play as it, and I will play as it in tournament the majority of the time.
: I have a lot of control on the character, and I really like to play as it. However, it sees little to no usage in tournament as the characters above (except Mewtwo).
: I have great control on this character, and I usually choose it.
: I have good control on this character, but don't choose it a lot. Though if I choose "Random", I will play it.
: I play the character at a mediocre level.
: I do not play this character.
: I DO NOT know how to play this character.

The characters I used...
- ...in the demo were Mario, Link and Mega Man.
- ...in 1.0.1 (the game's release) were Palutena, Flatts, Ike, Greninja, Toon Link, Captain Falcon, Ganondorf, Little Mac and th e Mi is.
- ...since their DLC release are Mewtwo, Roy and Rand... I mean, Cloud (the former two because Melee hype, though the hype for the middle one ended 5 months after his release).
Of the , only Mewtwo sees use in tournaments.
I do like Rosie outside of Smash, but I dislike her playstyle and as a result, I play her mediocrely. Same with Mega Man (as mentioned above).
I dislike playing against Wario, but I actually play him than others like Pikachu. He is also fun to play as.
Nairo indirectly convinced me of playing Dr. Mario.
I dislike playing against most of the "" tiered characters because of how annoying they can be to fight against when mastered and because their playerbases have a lot of people that main them. I do not dislike the people that main them tho, and I like most of them outside of Smash: examples would be Bayonetta and Link.
The above being said, however, don't make me explain the full reasons why I dislike Lucina... plz, I could go on... also, "Falcofied" is a term I coined for making clones same versions moveset-wise, yet have different playstyle versions altogether. That would make me reconsider her entirely, no joke.

Me and my li'l brother own some amiibos as well (he's 11 years old, his skill is above average for a casual, he mains Sonic and Luigi).

Of course, my favorite girl comes first on the list. So they said "But you want to be a competitive player! And she is s*** in competitive play! Who would like this amiibo that wasn't an amiibo collector or a pervert?" And I told them: "ME". Her name is "Best Waifu".
The first amiibo I ever wanted and succesfully got, alongside the rest of the Retro 3-pack. His name is "Hitler".
The other amiibo I wanted from the Retro 3-pack, because who doesn't like R.O.B.? His name is "Military".
Didn't wanted him as the other two amiibos in the Retro 3-Pack, but I'm glad I could obtain it as well. His name is "Infamous".
I got this amiibo in December 2015 in the U.S.A., before Christmas. It was the last one in the store, so I'm lucky. His name is "Old Man".
I was in my region's downtown, when I saw this and Lucas' amiibo on a videogame store, new on a shelf. As there was no other store with the amiibo, I bought it. Not surprisingly, his name is "Mew2King".
To emulate my brother, I bought this amiibo so we could have both 30th anniversary amiibos. His name is "Mehrio".

My dad went to NY, all the way from Mexico, for a job conference. He took my mom with him, and on one trip to the mall, she saw this one on the shelves of a GameStop. His name is "Leo".
