Shulk swings the Monado in a circular, upward-arcing slash spanning from his upper leg to his head. It is Shulk's fastest aerial attack, coming out on frame 13, has the least amount of landing lag out of all his aerials, has an long hitbox duration, lasting a total of 17 frames, and combined with the Jump, Speed, and Buster Arts it is Shulk's best combo stater and approach tool. However, due to the long-lasting hitbox, combined with high ending lag, it makes it very risky to use off-stage when [[fast falling]], as it usually results in Shulk [[self-destruct]]ing.
