Balloon Fight is an NES game that has made several apperances in the Super Smash Bros. series. In Balloon fight the player was a man with two balloon strapped to his back with the objective of killing other birds with similar balloons on their backs.

Apperances in the Smash Bros. series

  • In Melee there is a Balloon Fighter trophy that can be obtained through the lottery.
  • The Flipper item originated as an obstackle in this game. It temporarily replaced the Bumper from Super Smash Bros. in Melee but the bumber will return in Brawl, probably replacing the flipper.
  • The giant fish at the bottem of the the Summit originated from Balloon Fight. In the original game, the Balloon Fighter would be eaten by the giant fish if he got too close to the water.
