Plup is a smasher from Florida, who is considered to be the best Melee Samus player in the world. He has had strong placings in recent nationals, particularly in doubles, where he has teamed with Hungrybox to great success. He is currently ranked 2nd on the Central Florida Melee Power Rankings.
After Apex 2015, Plup has officially made the switch from Samus to maining Sheik, while still using Samus as an occasional counterpick.
Plup is also a professional Project M Meta Knight player in both singles and doubles, and took 1st place in CEO 2014 Project M doubles with fellow Florida smasher Wizzrobe. Around early December 2014 he recently switched to using Sheik in Project M, mostly likely due to the switch from 3.02 to 3.5.
