:Wario is not a non-Nintendo character. However, since Snake and Sonic are both unlockable, the game requires that there be at least one starter character in each category. Wario, seeing as he is a potential competitor to Nintendo in the universe of Warioware, was the best choice. - Wario is not a non-Nintendo character. However, since Snake and Sonic are both unlockable, the game requires that there be at least one starter character in each category.
