Event Matches are battle scenarios with a broad range of various predetermined conditions; such as characters, objectives, items, or many others. This mode first appeared in Melee, with 51 events being available. In Brawl, there are 41 single-player events and 21 co-op events (a new feature), each with three difficulty levels. Upon the appearance of characters, only player one comes to life from his trophy form. The CPU characters are already present when the match starts.
