A new feature introduced in Brawl are Co-Op Events.  Two players can now cooperatively partake in each event.  Additionally, the Co-Op Event mode features a differing set of events that the regular mode.  However, the total number of Co-Op Events is less than that of regular events.

Melee, with 51 being available. In Brawl, there are 41 single-player events and 20 co-op events (a new feature), each with three difficulty levels.
