The Drill Arm (豪腕ドリルヘッド, Drill Head Strong Arm) is an item in Super Smash Bros. 4. As the name suggests, it is a projectile item that fires a drill, which can hit opponents repeatedly and potentially drag them off the stage. It can only be fired once, leaving the firing base as a strong throwing item.
Origin
The Drill Arm was first seen in Kid Icarus: Uprising as one of the Arm weapons. Arm weapons tend to have short projectile range and slow attacks overall, but deal high damage with good homing ability. The Drill Arm specifically fires drills that pass through enemies for continuous damage.
