The Wii Fit Trainer is a new playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4, revealed during E3 2013 after the initial reveal trailers.[1] She originates from the Wii Fit series of games, and uses "healthy moves" based on fitness exercises. She is a fast and agile character.

Wii Fit Trainer's Final Smash is Wii Fit, where she strikes a yoga pose and sends out a wave of multicolored yoga images out that KO opponents. Her physical attacks mainly involve hand attacks and kicks, and her smash attacks all involve her pulling various Yoga poses. The Wii Fit Trainer is also able to crawl and wall jump.

On October 31, 2013 (the release date for the trial version of Wii Fit U), a male version of Wii Fit Trainer was shown[2], which was later confirmed in the April 8th, 2014 Smash Nintendo Direct to be an alternate costume of the Wii Fit Trainer. • Side Special: Header; the move consists of the Trainer pulling out a soccer ball and headbutts it at a downward angle. It remains on the battlefield for others to hit.
  • Up Special: Hula-Hoop; a recovery move that entails the Trainer hula-hooping skyward. Applies damage to opponents hit.
  • Down Special: Deep Breathing (腹式呼吸 (フクシキコキュウ)); this attack raises the Trainer's other attacks' power.
