Smash-Fest was an event held at Best Buy stores across Canada and the United States. It was held on June 11th, 2014 from 4pm-9pm and June 14th, 2014 from 12pm-5pm. The event gave players a chance to play both the Wii U and 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros. 4. Limited edition gold colored coins were distributed to the first few players in line at each event, and pins were given to players who participated in the 2 minute timed matches on the Wii U version.
