Article on Icaruspedia Ore Club

The Ore Club is club-type weapon that debuted in Kid Icarus: Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS.

In Super Smash Bros. 4

The Ore Club has been confirmed to appear as an item in the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. 4. Characters holding the Ore Club appear to have their movement speed limited, but the weapon can be devastating at close range, and it also produces projectile tornadoes to hit opponents from a distance.

Origin

The Ore Club was first seen in Kid Icarus: Uprising, as the most basic of all the club-type weapons in the game. Typically, clubs deal very high melee damage with a two-hit combo while saddling the user with a low running speed. It can be charged up for a charge shot, albeit rather slowly, which deals a large amount of damage. It's homing is average. Like other clubs, the Ore Club does not have any rapid fire projectile that most other weapons have.
