Jeremiah has competed in Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, Carlisle, and even Baltimore, Maryland, all of which he came in first place. He has been a member of many crews, including the Maple 64's (a Canadian retro gaming group), and Eagle Gaming (a group located in the Cumberland Valley School District). He was the leader of the Fredricksen Smashers, a relatively unknown crew based in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, which was disbanded as of November 14, 2013.

I was the leader of the Fredricksen Smashers, a relatively unknown crew based in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, which was disbanded as of November 14, 2013.

Jeremiah started playing the series when he was three years old, and was instantly hooked. He first played a beta version of Melee from a Walmart video game window, eventually acquiring the game when he was eight. Beforehand, he had joined the Maple 64's, a Canadian retro gaming group based in Dunnville, Ontario, Canada. Even at a young age, he showed his competitive side in combat games and proved to be a worthy opponent. Upon buying Melee, he further increased in his skills and began studying the game physics and its mechanics, allowing him to understand game strategy on a completely different level. He broke off from the Maple 64's and joined Eagle Gaming, a local crew that specialized in advanced strategy. When Brawl was released in 2008, he once again broke off from the crew and began studying Brawl physics and mechanics.

When he was eleven years old, Jeremiah walked in on a Brawl tournament, his first, at Cleve J. Fredricksen Library, in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Over a course of three hours, he managed to win first prize, running on an undefeated record. Since then, he has competed in different parts of Central Pennsylvania, and even unofficially competed in Baltimore, Maryland, also maintaining his undefeated record.

As of November 14, 2013, his crew, the Fredricksen Smashers, which consisted of friends from the Fredricksen tournament, held in Camp Hill, PA, in October of 2009, has been disbanded due to the crew being unable to find another local tournament. All crew members, including Jeremiah, are keeping a low profile until they can find another tournament.

==Strategies==

Jeremiah has spent most of his studying of the game on physics and mechanics, perfecting techniques such as the "wave dash" and also developing combos himself such as the "Rainbow Drill-Kick Combo", the "Corkscrew Knock-back", the "Reflector Reversal", and the "Aerial Facepalm". Although relatively unknown, these combos have proven themselves in strategic gameplay. Demonstrations of these combos will be able to be found on his YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsiXLzl3e9n615NYmuY8ydQ, which is currently in stages of development.

I am very offense-oriented and don't usually defend often. That is my greatest (and maybe only) weakness. I am a big fan of aerial attacks because of their relatively strong power and inability to be blocked by ground-based attacks. I specialize in recoveries, offensive combos, meteor smashes, attack timing, wave dashing, and chain throwing.

This chart shows how well I play all of the characters in Brawl. I ranked them based on how comfortable I feel playing the character, how well I know and use the character's playstyle and advanced techniques, and how much I enjoy playing the character. Although I am at least average with every character, I prefer some over others.

Background Information

I've competed in Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, Carlisle, and even Baltimore, Maryland, all of which I came in first place. I've been a member of many crews, including the Maple 64's (a Canadian retro gaming group), and Eagle Gaming (a group located in the Cumberland Valley School District). I was the leader of the Fredricksen Smashers, a relatively unknown crew based in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, which was disbanded as of November 14, 2013.

I started playing the series when I was three years old, and was instantly hooked. I first played a beta version of Melee from a Walmart video game window, eventually acquiring the game when I was eight. Beforehand, I had joined the Maple 64's, a Canadian retro gaming group based in Dunnville, Ontario, Canada. Even at a young age, I showed my competitive side in combat games and proved to be a worthy opponent. Upon buying Melee, I further increased my skills and began studying the game physics and its mechanics, allowing me to understand game strategy on a completely different level. I eventually broke off from the Maple 64's and joined Eagle Gaming, a local crew that specialized in advanced strategy. When Brawl was released in 2008, I once again broke off from the crew and began studying Brawl physics and mechanics.

When I was eleven years old, I walked in on a Brawl tournament, my first, at Cleve J. Fredricksen Library, in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Over a course of three hours, I managed to win first prize, running on an undefeated record. Since then, I've competed in different parts of Central Pennsylvania, and even unofficially in Baltimore, Maryland, also maintaining my undefeated record.

As of November 14, 2013, my crew, the Fredricksen Smashers, which consisted of friends from the Fredricksen tournament, held in Camp Hill, PA, in October of 2009, has been disbanded due to us being unable to find another local tournament. All crew members, including me, are keeping a low profile until we can find another tournament.

Strategies

I spend most of my studying of the game on physics and mechanics, and I have perfected techniques such as the "wave dash". I've also been developing combos myself such as the "Rainbow Drill-Kick Combo", the "Corkscrew Knock-back", the "Reflector Reversal", and the "Aerial Facepalm". Although relatively unknown, my combos have proven themselves in strategic gameplay. Demonstrations of these combos will be able to be found on my YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsiXLzl3e9n615NYmuY8ydQ, which is currently in stages of development.
