FLUDD works really well with ACE ([aerial cape extension]--don't even know if there's an article, actually) because the occasionally-fatal horizontal distance you can get caping off the edge can be somewhat recovered due to Mario's horizontal push-back from FLUDD. So, you can knock someone off the stage, cape off the edge as best you can to chase him while he recovers, FLUDD to push him past the blast line while simultaneously Mario's momentum shifts back towards the stage. From there, you still have two jumps with which to recover. It's a finesse KO, but one of Mario's finest in Brawl. --[[Special:Contributions/70.75.175.95|70.75.175.95]] 00:57, 25 November 2008 (UTC) | FLUDD works really well with ACE ([aerial cape extension]--don't even know if there's an article, actually) because the occasionally-fatal horizontal distance you can get caping off the edge can be somewhat recovered due to Mario's horizontal push-back from FLUDD. Okay, anybody likes the new Down B of Mario, the FLUDD? Personally, i don't like it, i don't see any use for it, other for gimping recoveries. For me, Mario should have the Spin Attack from Mario Galaxy as Down B. (It would stun enemy for a short time) or the ability to launch Starbits at the enemy. What do you think?
Keep mario tornado and make fludd an item. Solar flute (talk)

- I kinda like Mario Tornado as a Dair. Cheezperson {talk}stuff 06:19, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

- It looks rather hard to pull off, and I'm unsure of its real usefulness. - GalaxiaD Talk 22:54, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Can someone check if this can block attacks like Ike's Quick Draw? Cheezperson {talk}stuff 01:19, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- That would be an interesting experiment. - GalaxiaD Talk 22:46, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- That and Fox and Falco's Front-B attacks. That may be the true power of the FLUDD. Cheezperson {talk}stuff 02:17, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
I don`t know why Nintendo put this sucky move in Brawl. User:Windu223/sig(or Windu223)

Let me clear this whole thing up
FLUDD should've definately been an item. But come on, guys. FLUDD is not that bad. What if Sakurai replaced the Luigi Cyclone with the Poltergeist3000? That would suck, wouldn't it? Let's be glad Luigi kept his spinning attack. Btw, in my SSBR game, Mario gets his tornado back on. ;D Koopa Klaus 20:46, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

It would depend on what poltergust does. Solar flute (talk)
- The tornado is SUCH a crazy move, I wouldn't replace it. Poltergust would probably bring foes nearer to you (kinda like what gale boomerang does, but without the boomerang). It would be a very difficult move to use, I would think. Cheezperson {talk}stuff 07:17, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Trust me, I am glad Luigi kept his spinning attack because the Poltergeist3000 would, both like the FLUUD and how I met your mother, suck. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions)
- The problem with FLUDD is that Mario's Cape can do essentially everything it can do, and sometimes better. Cheezperson {talk}stuff 07:50, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

The F.L.U.D.D. is actually a lot better and far more useful than Mario's tornado was in Melee; honestly, I can't think of anything the tornado was used for besides recovery and Mario's recovery is actually decent enough now in Brawl to where he doesn't really need it. The F.L.U.D.D. is basically a multi-purpose setup move; F.L.U.D.D. can be used to setup the cape while edgeguarding or be used to help punish moves using FIHL. I think F.L.U.D.D. could have been better, but I'm not too disappointed. Mario, the classic man of Nintendo
