Juggleguy is a Michigan smasher and one of the most influential tournament organizers in the United States. He is best known for hosting the The Big House events, the largest active Melee tournament series in the Midwest. He is the founder of UM Smash at the University of Michigan, directing its official site, Facebook page, Facebook group, and YouTube channel in addition to hosting tournaments on campus.
Besides his tournament organizer role, he is also a moderator and Melee Back Room member on Smashboards, writes the annual Melee Year in Review summary, is a regular recording staff member at national events, and manages one of the most popular YouTube channels in the Melee community. After a brief stint with Brawl, he started playing Melee competitively in 2008, playing Captain Falcon and using his black palette swap, which was inspired by Darkrain. The Big House was a Midwest Melee super regional event that became one of the most successful tournaments in the country in 2011, producing 115 entrants and finishing in one day. The Big House 2 was a Midwest Melee national event and the third-largest Melee tournament overall in 2012, producing 128 entrants and finishing in two days.
