The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. Zapdos is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee

Zapdos trophy in Melee.

As a Poké Ball Pokémon

When Zapdos makes its rare appearance out of Poké Balls, it uses Thunderbolt as its attack. A current of electricity will surround Zapdos. Any character caught in the current of electricity (other than the summoner) will not be able to move (but can DI out of the electricity, similar to a Smart Bomb) and will take (if caught in it from the beginning) 81% damage.

As a trophy

Zapdos is featured as a collectible trophy, unlocked as one of the 100+ trophies that can be collected randomly during normal play, such as in the Trophy Lottery and throughout the various Single-player Regular Matches. The trophy description is:

Zapdos flaps its wings, and summer storms appear, throwing lightning every which way. It's said that you can hear this legendary Pokémon coming, as its wings make a very distinctive popping sound as it flies. In addition to electrical moves like the dreaded Thunder, it also wields a vicious move called Drill Peck.
