Nolimar (also known as Solimar or Lolimar) refers to the practice of using Olimar without any Pikmin, either due to losing Pikmin from being KO'd or by choosing to play the entire match with no Pikmin.
Playing without Pikmin results in Olimar having no smash attacks, only one aerial attack, no grabs or throws, and no fully functional special attacks aside from his Final Smash. That said, Olimar's tilts are capable of KO'ing opponents, and Pikmin Order's launch resistance is intact to aid in surviving, so it is possible (albeit highly unlikely) to defeat opponents as Nolimar.
Intentionally playing as Nolimar can be compared to playing only one Ice Climber.
