Seeing Volt Tackle do so much damage in one go makes me cringe, while Super Sonic is really powerful and lasts a while. I would have preferred Volt Tackle if it worked anime-style with effects like Marth's Critical Hit, and have Pulseman as an Assist Trophy instead. Seriously, I'd rather just be struck be a Critical Hit and have done with it, rather than seeing Volt Tackle going all cheap on everyone.
