Template:Character King Dedede (デデデ大王, Dedede Daiō), also spelled "King DeDeDe", and "King De De De" is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Dedede is a recurring villain in the Kirby series. He is an anthromorphic blue penguin whose main weapon is his massive wooden mallet, which has now been mechanized. Dedede has been classified as a "heavyweight," alongside Bowser and Donkey Kong. He may also have the ability to float, similiar to how he could in the Kirby series, but that is unconfirmed. He was confirmed on October 25, 2007 on the Smash Bros. DOJO!!
