Lucas (SSBB)

Template:Character Lucas (リュカ, Ryuka) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The first EarthBound newcomer, Lucas is the main character of MOTHER 3, the sequel to EarthBound released only in Japan. How Lucas fights in SSBB--aside from utilizing some sort of PSI electricity--remains to be seen, but it is commented that his fighting prowess may even surpass Ness.

Special Moves

The next moves are not confirmed though not invented. Names are slang.

• Side Special Move: Pk Fire2
• Up Special Move: ???
• Down Special Move: ???
• Final Smash: ???

It is not known if Lucas' attacks will be the same of Ness' only the sprites are confirmed . Proofs on Lucas' page at Smash Bros. DOJO!! Snapshot 1 , Sparks fly over Lucas: Pk Thunder2 Snapshot 2 , Taunt Snapshot 3 , Excecuting Psi Magnet2 aside from his body Snapshot 4 , An ember beside Lucas.

As of now, none of Lucas' special moves have been officially revealed. The video from Nintendo's Fall 2007 Conference, however, seems to show Lucas performing some sort of Special Move that is speculated by some to be PK Love.

Ness and Lucas

It is not known if Lucas will be a clone of Ness , a Luigified Ness , or a totally different character.

In a 100 poll took at SWF based on this facts what Lucas will be , here are the results:
74:Think it will be a Luigified character
20:Think it will be a clone character.
 6:Think it will be a different character.

Sprites are extremely similar in all B attacks except the PK love.
